Our history of sea life preservation and waterfront conservation has garnered the spirit of Nassau County's boaters, first responders, fishers and bay rats a-like. Our first hand-filled bottles were shared from Long Creek to Wife Lead, far and through the Loop Parkway. Legally unable to sell beer, our approach was inspired by the "rum-runners'' before us. If we could sell shirts and lawfully make beer for test batches, then why not learn into the market ahead. Navigating through a turbulent pandemic was critical to our Launch Plans. We've always had an affinity towards horseshoe crabs, true to its core but able to adjust in changing environments that spoke to our mission. Our brand syncs with the Limulus' long standing history and tradition. Jones Beach Brewing Company enjoys a good time but we're very particular about who is invited. There are too many people that Come and Go as they please. We align with those who Don't Come to the Table Empty Handed, that means cleaning up the beaches where you party, or to "knock with your feet'' at the door (often metaphorically), so your host knows that you have something to share with everyone. We enjoyed watching the Blue Angels soar across our Long Island skies this Memorial Day at the Bethpage Air Show! 🌟 It was a fantastic tribute to the brave men and women who serve our country, and we're grateful for the incredible aerial artistry they displayed. On March 17th, 2024, we had the honor of celebrating not only the legacy of Richie Muldowney, affectionately known as "Moon Dog," but also the profound inspiration behind our beer. Our collaboration with his brother Kevin, from Engine Company in Freeport in 2017, aimed to highlight the significance of the shamrock Richie proudly displayed on his helmet while courageously fighting fires. At Jones Beach Brewing, our mission extends beyond remembering those who sacrificed their lives on Memorial Day or September 11th. We strive to revive their legacy and spirit during times of joy and celebration, making their memory a year-round commitment. Thanks to the overwhelming support, we raised over $10,000 for the Tunnel to Towers Foundation in Richie's name, a contribution we're proud to continue with every beer sale. Our heartfelt gratitude goes out to the Nassau County Police, FDNY, and all first responders for their unwavering dedication to our safety and well-being. To pull up on the "Fastest Seagull" (our Family's Ole Boston Whaler) Like we've done during that 4 year "tasting" period, and to shoot the first ever Craft Brewery Commercial on Long Island, was an incredible night! Place was packed and we blew through 25 Cases in 4 hours. Fellow dock hands and boaters were thrilled to learn about the Tide Chart on the can for safe passage, due to the long awaiting dredging effort for the Inlet. It was a night of many first. Remember!
